Kendal has her Master’s Degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama in Psychology. She is currently a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Alabama and Florida. She specializes in adolescents (12+) and young adults, parenting, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and trauma using Accelerated Resolution Therapy. She can provide individual, family, and group therapy.

Kendal believes in a collaborative and strength/resource-based approach to therapy. She works WITH her clients to pinpoint the strengths/resources that could be beneficial as well as identify any unhealthy/unhelpful patterns of behavior and find new solutions.

She wants her clients to feel heard and seen while knowing that their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors make sense for them, due to context, even if these things are not very helpful at times. She also believes that therapy is not a “one size fits all” situation, so she tailors her sessions with the appropriate therapeutic approach and techniques that could be the most beneficial. Some of these approaches range from MRI, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Kendal has experience helping her clients ranging from parenting, improving communication, emotional regulation, bullying, self-esteem, implementing boundaries, managing anxiety and depression, processing trauma, and improving family/peer relationships.
