Sonya Banks earned her Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama and she is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama.

With over eight years of dedicated practice, she specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Sonya provides compassionate support to individuals navigating the challenges of their formative years. Her expertise extends to working with individuals who struggle with behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and adjustment disorders. Sonya also has training in trauma therapy and utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. 

Sonya's passion lies in helping young minds find resilience and healing. Her goal is to empower each individual to uncover their strengths and work towards emotional well-being.
